 About Me

I was an electrician for most of my adult life. I worked my way into management, where I estimated and managed construction projects. And eventually ran a good-sized electrical company.  About 5 years ago, I decided that what I do for a living consumes a huge chunk of my life and should be something fulfilling, enjoyable, and meaningful.  Since then I have owned a coffee shop, worked in a wildlife clinic, and remodeled houses, in my search for the right career. Almost 2 years ago, a friend, who is a massage therapist, introduced me to massage and told me she thought with my mechanical aptitude, my caring and nurturing nature that I would be a great Massage Therapist, and I agreed.

I have graduated from The Body Therapy Institute in imageimageSilerCity, August 2010, where I learned Swedish massage, Hydrotherapy, Spa Modalities, and Myofacial Massage.   My years of physical jobs have given me stamina and a great sense of touch. My mechanical aptitude coupled with the anatomy, physiology, and kinesthetics I learned at BTI has given me a great understanding of the body and how to treat it.

I now Love what I do for a living.
